This Futures Dreaming weekend is set amongst the idyllic bushland of the Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park and the stunning water views across Morning Bay on Pittwater. Take the opportunity to get close to nature and the insights that offers into our planet and our place in it. Be relaxed, be challenged and start to think about the future.

Starting on a Friday evening we spend time getting to know each other while also addressing the first tasks of the weekend, and being stimulated by presentations and representations of the future. We identify our first round of trends and then sleep on it. With fresh eyes we add to it and start to develop scenarios, possible futures using the insights we have developed.

Now the true innovation starts, as we build the scenarios of life in 2027 and develop rich immersive stories and become part of them. Using action learning we start to understand how life might be in those scenarios and how trends point to those scenarios or to innumerable others.

There is time for reflection on what we have learned, what we can take away and how we might continue to learn and to create our joint futures. Futures Dreaming is an opportunity for all to develop an understanding of strategy and the future, and how it can be applied creatively to deepen our insight and build our foresight.

The cost is $400 (inc GST) and covers accomodation, food, materials and insights. It is a wonderful weekend away which we rarely get to get together and talk about the future whilst being close to nature and completely relaxed.
