The Rise of Casual Gaming
What is the fastest growing category of gaming? With PC games on a steep decline (from 47million in 2004 to 38million in 2005) Casual gaming is on the rise. Causal games (the 5-minute diversions that take up to 2-hours) are now enjoyed by close to 100 million PC users. Added to this is the tens of million consumers who play them on their mobiles and PDAs.
