Stickam – Friend or Foe
Stickam is the new social website to enter a group which is already overpowered by Myspace and YouTube. It’s a little different to the big fish though, as it offers live and uncut videos and chat… yes you have reason to be worried. It’s currently stating that you must be at least 14 and it will bar inappropriate behaviour, but its membership already has hit 400,000 and it will be hard to enforce. Myspace has already blocked users making any links to Stickam, it seems they have recognized this as a threat. What are the implications of hundreds of thousands of young people webcaming and chatting about anything they want?
